YIPEE!

Consultation went great cause the idea was being approved (:
To re-emphasize on our idea again. We are doing a 90s kind of video as we thought that during the 90s, the effect of a national day was much more stronger then now. One specific part was the national day songs. It used to be much more impactful songs like "count on me singapore" or "stand up for singapore". But now? What we currently have was pop music like "moment of magic" which i think not everyone remember those lyrics. So to us, or maybe me, what makes a national day video works was to keep it simple and understandable by all ages so that people are able to relate to it. Thats whats more important then effects or aesthetically nice shots.

Oh my scanner can't work so i will just have to type them out in words.

'we the citizens of Singapore' -- Shot of people standing in front of a Singapore flag; they puting their hands to where their heart is and tilt heads 45 degree towards the sky
'Pledge outselves as one united people' -- Shot against a grass patch; hands of different races put together
'Regardless of race, language or religion' -- Shot with HDB background; people wearing different race costume
'To build a democratic society' -- Shot action of building with cast nearer to us and the build more further away to creating the building effect
'Based on justice and equality' -- Shot of people wearing white (PAP); waving towards camera
'So as to achieve, happiness' -- Shot of people standing in a line and turn head to the right
'prosperity' -- Shot of people standing in the same line and turn head to the left
'and progress for our nation' -- Shot of people in the same line but facing front and doing the hand actions (welcoming action)
Hope you people understand!
